It’s been a while between updates. There’s a lot going on in the world at the moment with the Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic.
At Australia Precision, we’ve spent the last 3 weeks relocating production and operations from our main office to a residential location and our staff are all currently working remotely from their own homes. This is so that we can cater for any further government restrictions on movement, transportation and interaction with our staff members and the general public.
We are currently following all government protocols when dealing with this pandemic at both a state and a federal level, and we advise all of our customers, supporters and those in the shooting/hunting/firearms community do the same no matter what country you are in.
As a result of the pandemic, we’ve also had a disruption in our supply chain. We have always sourced our components from local Australian suppliers, which those suppliers have also been impacted by the pandemic. We’re currently in the process of sourcing those components that we can’t acquire locally from overseas distributors. As such, we are no longer taking back orders and have fulfilled all existing backorders.
None of us know how long it will take for this pandemic to be over, we will endeavour to make sure our business continues to operate and will take the opportunity of self isolation and industry slowdown to focus on developing our software and hardware to implement new features and accelerate the Android and Apple IOS versions of our software.
