Wireless Compliance

AUS Precision’s wireless target camera systems and components are compliant with Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Regulations in Australia and New Zealand. Our systems are also compliant with USA FCC laws and Canadian Wireless Regulations. We also do not use Lithium Ion or LiPO batteries as they pose a risk of catching fire or exploding if damaged down range.

Australian Precision takes wireless compliance seriously, in Australia and other countries, all devices using wireless spectrum bands are highly regulated. There’s a number of reasons for this, as certain devices may use/share parts of the spectrum. High powered or analogue devices can cause issues and interference for other users of “public park” wireless spectrums (e.g. 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz spectrums). Even medical implant devices use these common public park spectrums.

When purchasing a wireless target camera system, you should always to check to make sure that the device is compliant for use in your country and if the importer/distributor and/or manufacturer is complying with all your state and federal communications laws and regulatory environments.

Other wireless target camera manufacturers selling 2.4Ghz/5.8Ghz Digital Wireless systems that are WiFi based might not also comply with wireless laws and regulations. Any device sold in Australia needs to comply with ACMA / Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) labelling. In addition some systems sold internationally use WiFi Signal Boosters, which can potentially put them well over the maximum allowed EIRP power rating.
